Derek is a co-founder of BraddockMatthews and brings over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to founding BraddockMatthews, Derek was a senior partner for eight years at another well-known asset management and financial services search firm, HigdonBraddockMatthews, and previously spent more than 10 years across a range of financial services sales, product management and marketing roles. Derek has extensive expertise in search and recruitment, with particular focus on investment and sales/marketing professionals, notably in the alternative investments arena, as well as traditional asset management, family offices, and endowments & foundations. Derek began his career in sales and marketing with Lord, Abbett & Co. and Salomon Smith Barney. After receiving his M.B.A. in 2000, he spent over four years at Charles Schwab Company in San Francisco, marketing to the institutional and RIA marketplace. Derek earned his B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Derek has served on the Association of Executive Search Consultants' (AESC) Americas Council and on the Board of Directors for Per Scholas, a non-profit organization focused on workforce development in low-income communities.
Erin is a Partner at BraddockMatthews and brings over 15 years of combined experience in both executive search and the financial service industry, having previously recruited senior-level asset management talent at both HigdonBraddockMatthews and Conley & Co. Erin conducts searches for senior investment and non-investment professionals for asset management, private equity and venture capital firms as well as hedge funds and endowments, foundations and family offices. Erin earlier spent seven and one-half years in the asset management, private banking, and wealth management businesses of Merrill Lynch in New York. Before Merrill, she was an Associate at Douglas C. Lane & Associates, a New York based registered investment advisor. Erin received her B.S. in Business and Economics, cum laude, from Lehigh University.
Bill is a co-founder of BraddockMatthews. Having spent more than five years as a senior partner at HigdonBraddockMatthews and five years at Conley & Co., Bill spends the significant majority of his time working with private equity clients, and has extensive experience recruiting senior investment professionals and non-investment professionals (including roles in investor relations, legal, finance and business development) for some of the foremost firms. His clients include managers at all stages of principal investing, and Bill has worked with a variety of firms that are active in the private equity marketplace, including placement agents, and private equity investors (e.g. fund of funds, endowments and foundations). Prior to joining the firm, Bill was a Managing Director at Conley & Company, where for four years he directed the firm's Alternative Asset search activities. Earlier in his career, Bill worked for nearly a decade as a lawyer and investment banker in Boston. He practiced commercial litigation at several firms, including Goodwin Procter, and worked as an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions practice group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Bill holds a B.A. in history from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin.
Bill serves on the Board of a number of charitable and community organizations, including the local chapter of the JDRF, and is active with various alumni committees of Yale and St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire.
Lisa is a Partner at BraddockMatthews. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in executive search and asset management to the firm. Prior to joining BraddockMatthews, Lisa founded Grace Point Partners, a retained executive firm focused on the asset management industry. At Grace Point as well as at a prior search firm, Lisa and her team specialized in building the marketing and investor relations functions for many of the world’s top alternative asset management firms. Prior to returning to executive search in 2011, Lisa was a Senior Vice President at Highbridge Capital Management, J.P. Morgan’s alternative asset business, where she ran the firm’s recruiting, media, and public relations efforts on a global basis. Prior to Highbridge, Lisa was an executive search consultant at the Capstone Partnership, where she worked across asset management, investment banking, and management consulting.
Lisa holds an M.B.A. from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business and a B.B.A. from The College of William & Mary.
Rachel is a Principal at BraddockMatthews and has nearly 15 years of combined finance and executive search experience. Rachel joined BraddockMatthews from Grace Point Partners, another leading retained executive search firm focused on the asset management industry. Prior to Grace Point, Rachel was a member of an industry-leading team that focused in the marketing, sales, and distribution space at another large search firm. Before transitioning to executive search, Rachel spent over ten years as a capital raising and investment banking professional. She was a senior member of the business development team at IFM Investors, an $80 billion Australian-based asset manager, where she led the fundraising and investor relations efforts for the Global Infrastructure Private Equity Fund. Prior to this, she spent five years at Credit Suisse, in both London and New York, in Capital Markets and later, in a strategy role. Rachel began her career at Merrill Lynch as an investment banker within Equity Capital Markets.
Rachel holds a B.A. from Amherst College, where she was also a member of the varsity swim team.
Caroline is a Vice President at BraddockMatthews and has over a decade of executive search experience. Previously, Caroline was a member of the Financial Services team at Russell Reynolds where she was responsible for a variety of assignments, including senior-level searches in private equity, venture capital, growth equity, asset management, real estate, investment banking, and financial technology. Caroline also spent several years at various boutique search firms, notably BellCast Partners and Henkel Search Partners, where she focused on both Pre-MBA and Post-MBA recruiting for a broad set of private equity funds, varying in size and investment style. She began her career at Conde Nast in Talent Acquisition & Human Resources. Caroline received her B.A in Psychology from Harvard College and was a member of both the Women’s Varsity Lacrosse & Varsity Squash Teams.
Megan is the Director of Research at BraddockMatthews and is responsible for candidate identification, research strategy, and managing the firm’s knowledge and database management effort. Prior to joining BraddockMatthews, Megan was an Associate with a boutique executive search firm focused on the financial services industry and began her career in executive search at the global executive search firm, Russell Reynolds Associates. Megan holds a B.S. from Northeastern University.
Cesar is an Associate at BraddockMatthews and is responsible for candidate research and identification as well as database management. Previously, Cesar was a Strategic Research Associate with The Expert Institute, a legal technology startup that delivers expert witness solutions across every area of practice. In addition, Cesar held internships with the US House of Representatives and a political consulting firm. Cesar earned his B.A. in Political Science and History from Elizabethtown College.
Kelly is responsible for providing all administrative and office management support to the team in the Boston office. Kelly also serves as the primary contact/liaison for both candidates and clients throughout the search process. Prior to joining BraddockMatthews, Kelly spent three years as an Associate with Inclusive Coaching Inc. Earlier in her career, Kelly spent over 18 years at Harvard Management Company in various accounting and finance roles, including operational due diligence, across the externally managed assets portfolio. Kelly received her B.S. from Bridgewater State University.
Jackie is responsible for providing all administrative and office management support to the team in the New York office. She also serves as the serve as a key contact/liaison with both candidates and clients throughout the search process. Prior to joining BraddockMatthews, Jackie spent five years at HigdonBraddockMatthews. Jackie received her B.A. from The George Washington University.
